About GLP-1 Brands: The difference between Ozempic & Wegovy

Ozempic and Wegovy are both injections that contain the GLP-1 hormone. Ozempic was originally approved to treat Type 2 diabetes, and can also help you manage high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, and more. Wegovy was relabeled and approved for weight loss. Both drugs contain the same molecule. During your consultation, the doctor will decide the correct dosage for you.

About GLP-1/GIP Brands: The difference between Mounjaro & Zepbound

Mounjaro and Zepbound are brand names for injections that use a combination of GLP-1/GIP. These drugs also reduce appetite, but there are some differences. Instead of being a single-receptor agonist, which GLP-1 brands are, these weight loss drugs activate two receptors at the same time (dual-agonists). The result is more dramatic weight loss, especially when you choose Zepbound (the more potent version).

When I inquired about medications for weight loss I was warmly welcomed by the staff and immediately assisted. There was no pressure of using their services, instead every question I had was answered. The decision was made and I decided to try the terzipitide. I easily needed to lose 25 lbs. I started off at the lowest dose for a month, then with the help you get from the amazing staff (which is invaluable), I’ve slowly gone up in strength of the medication, my last dose was 7.5mg. I’m on my 15th week and honestly I have never seen 27lbs just fall off so effortlessly. It works that’s all I can say, it really works.

When I first started doing research about weight loss shots and medical spas, there was so many sites not willing to be upfront about the cost. Lifestyle health services was the first to layout all out and I appreciated the straightforwardness. I originally told myself that I would go in once a month, ask for my shots in advance to be done at home, but as I got to know the staff I love going in for my weekly appointment. Nurse Nicole is wonderful, very personable and is always ready to answer any questions I might have. The receptionist Annie is the best! She has been most generous with her time and understanding if I've had to change an appointment last minute or even come later in the day. I consider them my ladies! The office is very accommodating and I would and have recommended this office and service to anyone asking how I have lost so much weight this past year.

Kristina is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University in 2023. She has been a registered nurse since 2016 with a diverse background in the operating room and aesthetics/integrative medicine.
