What is Ozempic Approved for

Ozempic has been approved for the treatment of diabetes, primarily for lowering A1C levels and reducing cardiovascular risk. While not officially approved for weight loss, clinical studies have shown that it aids in weight reduction, and it can be prescribed off-label for this purpose.
